TORONTO, Ontario, March 29, 2012 - To better connect companies and to stimulate new business and investment partnerships in the global marketplace, the Centre for Commercialization of Research (CCR) in partnership with the International Commercialization Alliance (ICA), has launched a pilot project called the Global Marketplace.

The project, led by CCR in partnership with seven ICA members representing a total of six countries, will assist in brokering cross-border business agreements between intermediary client companies in the innovation space and establish formalized partnerships to better facilitate negotiations across organizations and countries. The framework for the Global Marketplace involves a series of regionally-focused meetings held in ICA-member countries over a 12-month period.
